" Welcome to Glenn. The perfect place to be. Well, that's what it seems like at first glance. Take a look around and you'll see that everything is perfect. Perfect houses, perfect families, perfect schools, and even perfectly mowed lawns. Look a little bit closer though, and you will realize that Glenn is anything but a perfect little city. Hiding behind the indistinguishable community lies people who live secret lives. Why not visit Glenn and get to know the city folk yourself. Enter the lives of four high school students and find out how unspeakable, laughable, breathtaking, and real the city of Glenn actually is."
Wooh. That actually took some time. I can't wait to start brainstorming it up though! I have a basic storyline in mind, but I need to think about the meat 'n potatoes. Characters. Chapter structure. Parallels. All of that good stuff! But nevertheless, I can't wait until I get to start writing! Should I post chapters here? I think I will. By the chapter. :] Welcome y'all.
So I hung out with friends! Haha. I hung with Sydnie, Kristen, and Alison yo'! Purty fun right there! I woke up at around 10 for once. That was really nice. Mmmhmmm. Sydnie had a mock trial thing, so while we waited for her, Kristen, Alison, and I pretty much just hung out in her room. Kristen left early, so Alison and I had some bonding time as we strolled N
We ate at Swirl Culture first for some exclusively yummy fro-yo. Kinda expensive, but my blueberry and mochi treat was oh-so worth it! Alison got the swirl of blueberry and mango with sour-strawberries with leaves still attached as toppings. Nothing says oishii like that. The atmosphere there was really cool and light. Futuristic. Tight. Fun. Clean. Nice.
Afterwards, we went to Golden Boy Pizza for some of the most delicious-ness I've ever had. I remember going there with Holden and his dad a bunch of times. But this time, it was easily 10x as good as I remembered. The crust was perfect. Had just the right crunch, ya know? We had our rich pizzas in the park near Syd's house. The sauce and toppings just right. Hahaa! While eating a dog came up to Alison and started harassing her! The man called his dog's name several times before we were actually in the green. Then a few minutes later, we saw the dog attacking a box of somebody's strawberries!
Sydnie came home! We went out with her and played in the park for a bit. I was feeling kinda lazy out there, so I kinda sucked at football and frisbee. But still, it was nice to go out! We then got more frozen yogurt! I got cheesecake with blueberries; but it was hella watery. Syd got rocky-road and Alison got tart with peaches. Savory.
We walked around a little more then went back to Sydnie's house to play a game of Clue! But get this; it was talking-Clue! The game 'host' kept skipping my turn so, Sydnie won! He must've liked her more because she was the young prince and I was the old grumpy man. Kidding. We had a yummy dinner then headed downtown for Cheryl's gift! We got her a Harajuku bag filled with candy! Yay! I hope she hasn't read this yet....We then left each other at the Muni station and began a journey home :[ Nice day! There was only one problem...but I won't get into that!
So now, I'm going to watch some scary on-demand movie. rawr. zombies.
